2002 - Work is begun on the Foundation Wall

Denis Hare, local stonemason, begins to transform the west wall of the foundation into a structurally sound wall. He is going to make an archway in the wall.
Although
we were in the midst of the most severe draught in many years, a new liner was
installed in the pond and the bank seen here in the picture was revetted. Soon
stonework will be started on the revetted part of the jump in time for the
September event.
